The Challenge
The fintech processed digital payments on its own servers in a local datacenter. The Solution
BeeWorks designed and executed the migration to Azure with a Kubernetes container architecture that isolated payment processing components in PCI DSS-compliant security zones. Infrastructure was fully codified in Terraform, eliminating manual configuration and guaranteeing reproducible environments. A CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions was implemented to automate build, testing, and deployment. The team of 5 specialists worked in controlled windows to guarantee zero interruption of payment services during the migration.
Results
Infrastructure costs fell 60% by moving from oversized fixed capacity to elastic resources that scale with actual demand.
